How bad does it hurt to get an ingrown toenail removed?

    Honestly, it is very painful both during and afterward. Apparently, to you, missing school is the best part so concentrate on that. Having an ingrown toenail is miserably painful so you should be happy to be getting it taken care of. Suck it up a little bit. This is probably not the worst pain you will ever have in life.

I don't want to scare you but it does hurt that's the bad news. The good news you will probably miss school for 1 or 2 days. Be brave, it doesn't take long.

I really don't want to scare you but I'm in 8th grade now and I got mine done last year in 7th grade. It hurts like hell. I dont take pain very well at all. I got my surgery done on a thursday so I only missed Friday and then it was a weekend. First they numb your toe with a cold spray and then your toe feels weird and they cut into it. And then it stings so yea. Good luck!! :)
