Your diet may be working against you. You need to be focused on fat loss not muscle gain with supplements help at his stage. You need to make smart food choices to keep your biochemistry in balance to promote the fat burning process. Strive for a well balanced diet of natural fats (nuts, olives, avocados...), proteins (not necessarily meats), and lower range GI carbohydrates (veggies, berries, some fruits). Minimize or avoid wheat products, starchy foods, and food and beverage products that list sugar (any type) as one of the first three ingredients. Opt for fresh foods rather than processed foods. Dr. Eric Berg of YouTube fame says there are four different fat storage body types, and that the diets to loose depend on the body type. Research any terms that are not clear or questionable. OK. This is not something you can do on your own, and occasional exercise will not do it for you. If you are 418 pounds then you should be asking your doctor, not us dweebs on Yahoo. You are what is called morbidly obese. Your rolls of fat will probably not go away anytime soon. Once you have consulted with your doctor and started a strict (and strictly enforced) diet and exercise program then you may consider having some of the excess removed surgically. It is possible that some areas have developed their own blood source which can be complex to remove. As time goes on you may also want to have excess skin removed. Keep in mind that by weight, fat is double the volume of muscle. For example, if you have a fist sized piece of muscle it will be twice as heavy as the same sized piece of fat. To make it clearer, 80% lean ground beef is 20% fat by weight but 40% fat by volume. If you took all the fat out of one pound of 80% ground beef you would end up with just over 9 ounces of actual beef.
