Go to My Profile on the right side of the screen Go to edit my info and click on it Then go to edit my yahoo avatar.. may say create yahoo avatar Then just pick the apparel and backgrounds and stuff on the right side and you'll see the avatar on the left When that's done you click the "save changes" button under your avatar

make sure you have a yahoo profile and once you make one it will give you an option to make an avatar picture or browse for one to take from your computer or choose to keep the photo you have right now as your profile picture
