Where to learn about strumming patterns?

Is there an easy way to learn guitar strumming patterns for songs...other than just listening to the song?

    I'm a professional musician and when I want some other input besides learning from records, I got to a music store and look through the books they have. Online tab stuff is fun (I read music and can't deal with tab) too! Or take one lesson with a teacher in your area. Just one lesson can jumpstart your practicing when it gets stale, which it can easily do
