Does lip synching damage vocal chords?
-
I was wondering if lip synching damages vocal chords at all. Even if it's hard or soft lip synching. Thanks.

Answer:
Are you speaking/singing when lip syncing? No? At least you shouldn't be because lip syncing only involves moving your lips with the words of a song. Well then obviously not. You can't damage your vocal chords without using them.

Lip syncing is just moving your lips, so no it doesn't. Lip Syncing doesn't involve your vocal chords. If you make sound when you lip sync then that is just The Same as whispering loudly
Hi
No. Cause you are NOT SINGING! But in all seriousness, you need to actually use them if you want them to have any impact on them at all.
