    People have this obsession that if they pay for something, it should be good Xbox live is $50 a year PSN is free Xbox live has almost been down for 3 weeks, into the holidays people couldn't play their brand new COD 4 games....Playstation 3 owners were able to. I have been used Playstation online since the older PS2 days with socom. Its really not that bad.

I don't have a PS3 and have never used the PSN before but I do own a 360. I'm not fanboy, but I've heard from various reputable VG sites and blogs that Xbox Live is superior. They are about the same except xbox live you pay for it and ps3 is free. It's up to which system you have.

I think XBOX live is superior and considering the amount of XBOX games that are online versus their PS3 counterparts. Who knows how Sony will react to XBOX live. I do hope they compete and produce something phenomenal. So far, it looks like Nintendo is winning the console wars. I just want a PS3 for Metal Gear Solid 4.

They aren't the same!! Wow you guys are ill informed. You can do everything on a PS3 that you can on a 360, but the PS3 can't do any of it IN GAME. Meaning to send a message you gotta exit the game.. Not useful at all.
