Alpine touring boots?

Is it ok to do downhill skiing in "randonee" or "alpine touring" skis with downhill boots and bindings?

    Tele in AT bindings? I've never heard of such a thing... But yes, for AT bindings, alpine boots will work just fine as downhill skis. I should add they'll be a little wobbly because you're higher up than on normal bindings, but the AT bindings are light so they make up for it. edit: oh I thought you meant you were using downhill boots on AT bindings. Yes you can mount whatever kind of binding you want on your skis
