If i put elmers glue onmy goalie gloves will that make them stickier?

i have these goalie gloves and their really nice and my parents wont let me get new ones what would happen if i put any kind of glue on them.

Answer:
Using glue on your gloves would not be allowed, as it would be dangerous. Players heading the ball after glue got on it could easily get glue in their eyes, or inhale it. It could also ruin your gloves. A number of different materials are used in keeper's gloves. Each model usually has instructions for their care, and doing anything else to them could ruin them.

That's cheating. If the ref found out that you put glue on your gloves to help you catch the ball, he/she could potentially kick you out of the match, and even suspend you for another game or two.
