Where to stay in Paris with a bum knee?

Try to stay at a hotel close to the attractions you want to see. Mom should wear jogging shoes (new ones or at least ones in fairly good condition)-- the cushioning does make a difference. There're many good brands--New Balance,Nike, Asics, etc. Don't buy em in France as the price can be double that of the US for the same model. If mom doesn't have one, she should consider getting a cane just in case she needs it. You can get em in Walmart, Walgreens, etc. Going to Paris is a once in a lifetime treat or at least a rare treat so consider using the taxis. Remember, in France NOBODY (except tourists) tip the taxi driver. If you want to tour the countryside, you can rent a car (but driving in Paris is inconvenient). Have a great trip!

It was a clean, well located and nicely staffed hotel. Ideally located near Notre-Dame, the forum and the Pompidou center. Very good tube connections. This is a safe site.
