How to make a bird cage?

How do you make a bird cage?

• I need a small one. Just big enough for 1 bird. This is my art project. The birds will be made of paper.

  Depends on what grade you are in art, I'm not sure if this will work, but most bird cages are made of bars to create a cage. Thus, you can design a simply made bird house out of pipe cleaners and/or Popsicle sticks, depending on what you want your cage to look like and how much time you want to spend on your project. Pipe cleaners would work best because they are easy to work with, look great, and can easily resemble the bars found in regular bird cages with an added spice (hence the art =p).
