    Either it`s the computer, the the wireless connection can`t go far enough where you have the wireless computer at, there are others stealing your internet or the wireless connection is weak and keeps droping... Hope this helps... =D

I also have a 2wire gateway, and the dude from at&t told me that other electronics make it go out. I had mine next a 60 inch tv, dvd player, cable box, a wii(with a signal), and cell phones all around it, so my **** went a lot, so i moved the router into my living were there is really no other electronics but a phone and its never dropped a connection, so try moving it away from other electronics, and if u cant mover stuff away from it, or increase the signal by putting your i.p address in the websearch(u no the long bar type website in) and it should take to the options of your router, and increase the signal
