What is the best workout?

Im a gym user, but i want to include swimming in my workout routines... What would be the best in pool workout?

    try and make a fun, interesting work out for yourself. mix up the strokes, do some drills, and alternate sprints and distance. my practices are very hard, cuz im a competitive swimmer

Take laps. Thats the best workout. Mix your strokes up though to make it tougher. For example breaststroke down and back, then butterfly down and back, then backstroke down and back, and just keep doing that and it will be a great workout.
