Disneyland Florida cheapest way to buy park tickets?

  • I'm going to Disneyland Florida in October for 2 weeks. I would like to get my park tickets as cheap as possible. I'm travelling with my family including my 4 year old ...show more

  • Answer:

There are no discount ways to purchase Disney tickets. You can take advantage of multi-day pricing, etc. but anyone selling "discount Disney tickets" is either an actual scam or a time-share sales person (an almost-scam). The first answer is correct and you should check the Walt Disney World website. https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/

Disneyland is in California, Disney World is in Florida. i don;t know where you're staying but usually the best deal is to buy the whole vacation package from Disney.

Since it looks like you are in the UK, you should speak with a travel agent there or look on the UK Disney site. Disney does offer discounts and packages to UK travelers, which are not available to US travelers. Generally speaking, there are no discounts on Disney tickets. Any significantly discounted tickets that you find online are scams. The best place to buy them is through Disney or a Disney-authorized travel agent.

listen to everyone here. there are no cheap or discouted Disney tickets. ONLY buy from a Disney site. I highly recommend staying at a Disney resort. Even if you have to cancel your reservations and re book with Dinsey. Staying at a Disney resort gives you many perks. They will pick you up at the airport and take care of your bags for you. You get Magic Hours, SO much nicer, less hassles. Try the value resorts for the lowest price

I will tell you how to get the most expensive tickets. Go on craigslist or Ebay and buy 'cheap' tickets. You go to Disney World all happy cause you fooled the mouse and got cheaper tickets. You scan the tickets and the gate staff will be like, 'you got fake tickets mon' and then you have to shell out money and buy tickets at the gate, which by the way is the only way to guarantee legitimate tickets. Disney does offer discounts to eligible military personnel. AAA and Costco also offers certain tickets at a discount for their members. Buying your tickets from any other source is just asking to be scammed.

There are no cheap tickets, unless you qualify for a discount listed on Disney's website. People used to re-sell multi-day tickets with a couple of days left over, Disney now uses biometrics to prevent that practice. The first time a ticket is used, it's linked to a thumb scan of that person. If you buy used tickets they won't work. The only discounts available are the ones Disney allows. This is common sense, they wouldn't invest big money in a system so they could control prices, then sell unrestricted discount tickets for distribution through third parties. They do sell tickets to AUTHORIZED resellers at a SLIGHT discount, like a couple of dollars per day. If you work for a large corporation or one that has ties to Disney, check with your Human Resources department. Those are the only legitimate discounts aside from the ones you can get directly from Disney. The only website to check is mousesavers, they have a link to an authorized reseller. They also keep track of discounts offered by government agencies, Hilton Hotels, and so forth. Since your question was posted in the UK section, if you live in Europe check with a travel agent. Disney does sell some tickets to international visitors that aren't available in the US. You can check the price on Disney's international website for comparison, I'm sure there are scammers in the UK too. Bottom line---expect to pay what you see on the Disney website, or what you can get from a reputable agent.

By far, the cheapest way to get park tickets is with a Disney package which includes lodging at a Disney resort... you can include food as well to save a little more. If you plan on visiting Disney in October for 2 weeks, and you are looking at a 10 day ticket, you should be able to find a package deal, stay on property, even ride the monorail to the parks and save quite a bit. October is a great time to visit Disney...lines will not be bad at all, and weather should be great. Disney does not bulk sell tickets to resellers and allow them to sell their tickets. There are no other discounts.

there is a way to get cheap tickets ..but its no fun ..and will take up half a day ..how? go to a timeshare presentation ...just ask at your hotel reception ..they will know ..you go this reception where they try to sell you a timeshare ..which you dont ..and for attending they give you half price tickets ..no tricks ..they really do give you the tickets .i have done it .even got free snacks..you must go to epcot centre

The best thing to do is buy directly from Disney. With sites like Ebay there's always a risk they won't work, and you'll end up having to pay more to replace your tickets.

Sarah - I would have to agree with the other good answers that it might be worth your time to check with authentic Disney agents in Europe. In the USA, the rest of us buy our tickets straight from the well know parks or from the legitimate company agents. We do take the very small accepted discounts for AAA members, Florida residents and military. We do not touch anything from Ebay or Craig's nor from a few local Florida shops that offer "unused" days. It is so unfortunate that so many families are caught by these scams and have saved in some cases for years for a desired wonderful vacation. There have been a number of cases recently of truly sad situations. In fact I even saw on these boards a person from the UK, telling how he had gotten sizable discounts at Disney and hotels, by obtaining a Florida resident's Driver's License. Now in order to get a license you must show actual proof of residence (electric bill or similar). There have also been several incidents at theme parks where a family is denied entrance, because their tickets are fakes. The persons then become irate and seem to believe that it is the park''s fault for their dilemma. When you are refused admittance you are asked to leave and if you do not, a call will be made to the local county police and of course this scene must be avoided. .
