Wow, that is a pretty high script, mine is also high I believe 9.00 is the highest as of yet in colored lenses with your script. You can purchase lenses without color that will last 3 to 4 months each. If you are scrupulous about cleaning you should be fine.

I also have your condition (I know I will spell it wrong) astigmatism and tried contacts years ago when all they had to offer were hard lenses. I wore them for a couple of years but just decided I was comfortable with my appearence and went back to glasses. I have blue eyes and would never thought about colored lenses. I really don't have a lot of advice on this for you but I will say this...... I truely believe that the standards some parts of society try to put on most people is unrealistic. Most tv, magizines and film go through hundreds of applicants to pick out the most attractive, good looking models, actors and people to look the best in their respective mediums. Then the photos are airbrushed, film altered, etc to make these people seem perfect. And people look at these images and want to look like them and be like them. Other than the "ugly betty" and some of the heavy weights in comedy, they are all above average. And as we know, many actors and models have surgery to enhance, hide and rebuild their bodies to continue looking good. One very beautiful actor, Yancy Butler, wanted to be a model but was turned down because she wasnt tall enough for industry standards. She is 5'7" and that wasnt enough. We have all seen the overdone film sequence where the plain looking girl takes off the glasses, takes out the pony tail and lets her hair swirl out and dumps the sweatshirt to become a beautiful woman. And everyone oohs and aahhs and says "WOW" I think you should probably forget the contact color and concentrate on being comfortable with the way you look, accepting what you were gifted with and being proud of yourself. It is normal to want to lose a few pounds if you are a bit overweight and trying to look your best, but fake enhancements are all a disguise, taking away from your true beauty. I'm sure your eyes are fine with their natural color.
