Is xm radio service free?

XM Radio is unfair. Has anyone else had problems cancelling service with XM?

    This happened to me too!!! I just paid the money. I was in the process of buying a house and couldn't have anything bad on my credit, so it was just easier to pay the twenty bucks and get it over with than to try to fight with them. I had alot of trouble because the primary language of the customer service reps was obviously not English and they had a difficult time understanding what I was trying to explain and their responses didn't make sense to me. So, I just gave them the money to be done with the situation. If it was a larger amount of money, I probably would have fought a little harder, but I was frustrated and just wanted to be done with it. Hope your situation works out better!!

Ok so they're sending blind collection letters. Which means they don't have any of your real personal information & can't report to your bureaus. Eventually they'll stop or you can call & just say you refuse to pay for something you didn't agree to receive.

I have. It took my two months to get mine canceled. I especially like the way you can activate online but can cancel online, that's real convenient isn't it?

I heard alot bad things about XM,I would go to collections let them know that your one year was up and that you didn't renew your service agreement and see what they can do for you have them tell XM that they(you) never renewed the agreement. Siruis is the one I use

If any paper work came with it, or even over the phone when you originally purchased it, they automatically renew your subscription unless you call and cancel, and in some cases, they want it in writing. Call and talk to a superviser.
