What is dirt biking?

I'm looking to get into dirt biking, what is a good bike?

  • I'm looking to get into dirt biking, mostly trial riding, but knowing myself i'll probably race as well. I'm 6'1" and weight 165lbs.

    seeing as you are already fully grown to save yourself the trouble of having to upgrade in a year i would say any name brand(honda yamaha kawasaki Suzuki ktm) 2 stroke 250cc would be a great choice just pick the color you like best and remember to take it really slow at first as they have a nasty kick if your not paying attention and they will put you on your ***. most people will tell ya to start on a littler bike till you get used to it but its annoying haveing to upgrade and sell, just learn some quick throttle control and you will be just fine on the 250

i would get a race bike i think you would have more fun with it.....i would get 250cc Yamaha YZ250 Suzuki RM250 Honda CRF250 KTM SX250 Kawasaki KX250 i like the RM and YZ the best but thats just my opinion but get one of those bikes i listed any questions or anything email me [email protected]

trial bikes are totally different from racing bikes I suggest racing since your new to this sport I dont race but im starting as well as you but if your that big and you have muscle get a 250 and build yourself a track if you have any land which you should if you want to be good i have 300 acres with a track on it if I would suggest a good bike I would suggest a crf 250 they are selling at 8500 but they are worth it and once you buy a few upgrades youll be up to 10000 dollars of money on that one bike but it is totally worth it trust me

you probably meant trails right? I would say start off with a crf250r there great over all bikes. You can race them, trail ride, and pretty much anything else. Once you get better at riding you can sell it and buy a 450. The 250 would be easier because you'll have more controllable power
