no its not!! its just a chain letter thing that people start so that it circulates around and around. i garuntee you its not true

Your news link is totally unrelated to the message you got. Think logically about this one... Two "directors" (top-level corporate officials) from MICROSOFT, going on a first-name basis, telling people they would lose their accounts if they didn't propagate a chain-letter. Factor in the abhorrent spelling and grammatical errors, and the overall threatening tone of the letter ("this is no joke"). Any of that sound a little odd to you? It's alarming that you even CONSIDER it to have a speck of truth. You need some serious common sense development, and quick. It's people like you that keep phishers and identity-thieves in business. Learn to recognize CRAP when it's served to you on a silver platter.

I've heard about this every year since 2001 via chain emails isn't going to happen, and if they did go ahead with it then bye bye to every 8 out of 10 MSN users msn WILL NOT make users pay for this, it's absolute bs, they'd lose more $$ doing this and there's no way in hell bill gates essentially rips a hole in his own pocket and lets the $$ start falling through, he'd be absolutely stupid, there's been no report on msn about it, hell, this is a bs story, i also heard a rumor that the chatrooms were gonna be closed as well, and to that i said the same thing i just said, aint gonna happen, complete bs. Regardless of what Microsoft is planning, then, now or in the future. If they require MSN users to do something, they will email them directly. Chain mail will never ever be used as a means to pass on service announcements, not by any company. I HATE those chain emails. Not only do some spammers get my email address it makes me feel guilty that there are that many gullable dumbasses in the world. Grrr, really pisses me off.

huh i could be a joke. there are hundreds of irritaiting mails circuling around. But i heard that they want to make you pay for msn. That is why the green man is one now but they want to turn it on blue and if it is blue you will need to pay. But i dont know if this also is thruth. good quiestion

Yeah. You can send your $10 to me and I'll make sure it gets applied to your account. Seriously, this is either a joke or phishing attempt (although I didn't see any url's, was that the whole message?). Just ignore it.

pingme

It's a fake email, the same sort of one made the rounds about yahoo a couple years ago.

Paul

No. That is a chain email that has been circulating since about 2003. It's not true. MSN will remain free for a long time yet =)
