Are there any downsides to rocker, reverse camber and banana technology snowboards?

I dont really see a downside to this technology. The company that manufactures the "Banana technology" is Lib Tech. The board you are referring to is their Dark Series boards. Supposedly these boards are the best all-around boards you can buy. Honestly I am sure this board rides great, but I have several boards, made years ago, that also work great in all kinds of terrain. I think this board probably does have better technology than its peers, but I would not pay full price for it either. There is only so much you can do to improve the performance of a snowboard. As far as I know, I have not heard any bad things about the new Lib Tech boards. Buy one this spring when they go on sale and rip it up.

Pretty much all rocker, banana, reverse camber boards suck at pipe, unless you get one of Never Summer's or Lib Tech's c2. I recommend the skate banana, the trs, the indoor survival fk, and the horrorscope fk.

there are a few bad things about it but nothing that is really going to be a huge deal. for one you are going to have less pop because the board is already flexed so it wont snap back as far second you will be less stable when going at fast speeds. i would still say that rocker is better its more fun and camber is just straight up gay and if you are looking for a really good rockered board i would recomend the k2 parkstar i have been riding it for this year and i love it, its a little bit more spendy (like 430$) but if you want a less expensive one i would recomend a k2 www, burton dominant, or the ride crush
