I'm sort of in the same situation lol. I got a 690 on bio freshman year and I was thinking of retaking it because I'm going to take AP bio senior year. Math IIC i got a 710 but collegeboard said that is in the 66% percentile.... But yeah i agree with the rest of these people only retake like 2 because you got a 740 in physics and 780 in world history and that is really really good.

First of all, relax. You seem pretty stressed. Second, it's too late to worry about what's done. I think that you could've avoided Chemistry's 690. My feeling is that you did not study for SAT II Chemistry with a prep book. You know, taking the course itself does not guarantee 700+. You have to study for it. Having said that, you will use SAT II World History and Physics. For the third one, study for Mathematics Level II and take that on October. STUDY and this is what I advise: get 800. It's not very hard at all, and if you study with prep book (Princeton Review), you will be able to get 800 on it, like I did. If you want, you can re-take Biology or Chemistry but there is really no point in that. For one thing, these courses were done on freshman and sophomore year --- a long time ago. So, just be happy with scores you got and bring Math up to 800. When your colleges say 690's on Chemistry and Biology, they are not going to say, "Oh. That's bad." 690 is a relatively GOOD score, but here's a thing: if you try to take more SAT II now, that's going to look bad. You can do so much more than study for SAT II on your senior year. Do volunteering work or something. Just make sure that you get that 800 on SAT II Math, and get successful. My best wishes to you! Please visit my message board. The link is in my profile. Thank you!

I'd retake no more than two of them. If you cram in too much studying now after such a long time has passed (since freshmen year for some!) then your head will explode. That being said, don't completely freak out, as those scores aren't entirely terrible! horrah! But honestly SAT2s are one of many MANY things selective colleges look at, and if you had great SAT scores, GPA, variety and amount of extra curricular activies, letters of recommendations etc. those scores wouldn't even be that bad at all! If I were you, I'd just retake Math and Chemistry, but it's all up to you.
