Where is the turn signal flasher for 1997 mercury mountaineer located at?

I have a 1998 Mercury Mountaineer and when you activate the turn signal, the flasher makes a chattering noise.

It's not the flasher module (98% sure) Usually it's caused by either the turn signal switch itself or the connections on the back having a bad connection and it chatters the flasher relay bring to a mechanic shop and they will know all about these little gems

Yeah i'd start by replacing the FLASHER, finding it is the hardest part i think...
