what browser do you use? normally its ,tools>delete browsing history on IE7,or ,you can click on the yellow star at the top left of the tool bar and delete from there.left click the yellow star,then right click the item to be deleted then left click yes in the box.

This is common in Internet Explorer, reboot the system and it'd be gone the next time you look for it. Consider using another broswer for your 'discreet' broswing needs.
