Which tv is better a LCD or a Plasma? If you have one of these please tell me which is better and why?

Each technology has its strengths and weaknesses. Well plasmas still have the burn-in problem(when an image that is left on the tv too long stays there even when the tv is off) and the screen is more of a mirror and you can see your light easily from it. I prefer lcd, cause it looks better on games. But for movies i guess you should go for plasma. I myhself own a JVC LCD 42"1080P HDTV and quality is pretty good, but it all depends on what you see looks better

ok the guy thow answered above totally has it wrong LCD = better than plasma for gaming and watching sports Plasma = better than lcd for watching movies or regular cable .. you know tv shows and stuff ... and lcd is like the best thing in the world for daytime .. when its bright outside and stuff .. but plasma shines during the night ... i prefer lcd because i play a lot of games .. but when im watching movies .. i always watch them on plasma .. cus lcd is not really good for movies .. THERE U go .. so buy one depending on what you are mostly gonna use it for allight?

it depends... lcds are good for video games and movies as plasmas are good for sports. i have both and i like my lcd better, but i play video games. my dad prefers a plasma and he watches a lot of sports.
