I've had cheesesteak sandwiches all over the country, including Philly, and the best are NOT in Philly. They have the "original" but hardly the best. That's sheer marketing on their part, not reality. The 2 main places in Philly actually serve gross, greasy sandwiches, with fake cheese and cheap yeasty, structureless bread....which I'm sure Philly folks like so soak-up all that grease. But, some people like steak'um sandwiches with cheezwiz

You should be able to find a nice deli that makes Philly cheesestaek--- afterall its just shredded steak, cheese, onons, etc. If you have time, then you can make your own .
