Can Safari warn me before opening multiple tabs?

Can Safari warn me before opening multiple tabs? When using Safari's Bookmarks Bar, I'll sometimes be navigating quickly and use the command+click (Mac) keys to open a new tab. Sometimes, my mistake, that link turns out to be a folder...and a truckload of tabs open. 1. Can Safari warn before opening multiple tabs? (I see it can warn of CLOSING multiple tabs) 2. Is there a quick way to stop loading all those multiple tabs? and return to the original ones that were open? Using Safari 5.1
