How many tattoos are ok in the military?

Is it OK if a future US president has tattoos?

• Well, it seems that everyone in the current generation is covered in tattoos and body art. So, that means in about 20 years or so, the political leaders will emerge and the chances are they will have tattoos. And from that, it is pretty safe to assume that eventually there will be a President of the US who will be covered in tattoos and the other body art forms. So, the question becomes should tattoos and body art disqualify a candidate or would this be discrimination? Are there some tattoos and body art that is just inappropriate for a president? Do you have any images of tattoos and body art of what a future US president might look like? And, do you think you will be able to recognize the political leaning of the candidate by his choice of tattoos and body art. What would a republican and what would a democrat tattoo look like?

  As long as they don't have a bullseye tattooed on top of their head ... it's OK by me. But I doubt you're going to see a presidential candidate with visible tattoos .. they go through all sorts of "image" counseling .. and that probably wouldn't fly.
