What's a good tool for address book import from gmail/yahoo mail/aol mail/etc?
-
we are currently using Plaxo for an invitation sending feature on our website. the user plugs in their email address and password, and Plaxo logs in and allows the user to select which contacts he wants to invite to our website. i am looking to replace Plaxo because the user experience is lacking (ie can't automatically infer service type from the email address domain name, can't directly link into the gmail flow or aol flow from an external link, etc)

Answer:
CloudSponge is a great alternative to Plaxo for importing email address books. Integration can be as easy as using our copy and paste widget, or for those who want to customize, they can use our API.
