What is the best treadmill workout plan?
-
Actually I prefer running outdoors, but at the moment it's not possible. I'm not too fat, but I would like to exercise with a treadmill every day. If it's possible, I would like to walk fast, but not to run. I feel my legs and buttocks heavy and I'm thinking about the best workout plan. I can configure the speed and slope of the treadmill with segments of 4 minutes each. What do you think it's best?

Answer:
My favorite is pyramid intervals, I cut weight/fat & calories when i did this. I did it running but you can adapt it for walking as well.... Start at a brisk walk on a low incline, speed walk for 30 -60 seconds, recover for the same, increase the incline and repeat, until you're at max (or as high as you're willing to go) then work back to low incline. You can email if you want more specifics.
