How can I toggle caps lock when the caps lock key is remapped?

Why is my right shift key my caps lock key?

  • whenever i hit my right shift key, it turns caps lock on and off. the caps lock key still does what it's supposed to do, but now i have a second caps lock key as my right shift key. i already looked around and went into the control panel, keyboard and where it says "to turn off caps lock" and you can choose "press the caps lock key" or "press the shift key" but it's already set on "press the caps lock key" so i don't understand why it's still using the shift key as caps lock.....this is really f***ing frustrating....

  • Answer:

Open Device Manager (type it in start/search) Click the + in front of Keyboards Double click on it Driver Tab Uninstall Reboot the laptop and Windows will re-install the driver. It should be back to normal.
