How to suspend FACEBOOK account? Urgent?

Have you ever temporarily suspended your Facebook account, due to stress caused from Facebook?

  • I've actually already written a rather lengthy and detailed question before this one, regarding something terrible that happened to me on Facebook. This morning, I chose to temporarily suspend my Facebook account because I just want to be alone and have time to myself. Facebook's cool and all, but sometimes it hurts me. Has anyone else ever temporarily suspended their facebook account, due to stress caused by Facebook? If so, please tell me your stories and tell me what motivated you to temporarily suspend your Facebook accounts. Did you feel better after a nice, long break and did any of your friends claim to have missed you while you were gone? Thanks.

    well i did and yes the people who love you do show their concern when you come back =) the reason i did was too lame =P anyways i did feel alot better . it tasted like freedom i dont know how but it really did. my accounts is scheduled for deletion =P

Nope. I only go on Face Book for about 10 minutes each morning to see what my kids and grand-kids have been up to.

Yeah I have. It was when a massive fight between me and my best friend happened. Her constant obvious status' towards me and liking pages... all that stuff hurt me so I opted to deactivate it. I can't really remember how I felt when I did, but I'm pretty sure I felt less stressed, but at the same time more because she could say anything about me and I wouldn't know. So I kept checking my brothers Facebook to see what she said anyway. Kinda defeated the purpose. But yes she did say things because she expected I wouldn't be able to see them. So I reactivated it after like 2 weeks and it was less stressfull. Tbh I reckon the reason I did, was just to be all dramatic like "omg she doesn't have fb anymore! There must be some big reason!" I can't really remember it was last year haha. But I'd say it actually didn't help de activating it.
