Strong muscles & big muscles?

Let's say, there are two guys. One hits the gym three times a week and works out pretty intensely. The other one trains every day, but his workouts are shorter. The first one usually get bigger muscles, the second one gets stronger but looks less bulked up. Is there any reason for this? I work out every day, but I don't really strain myself. I've noticed my muscles are way harder than they used to be, even if they're not very huge. I'm only interested in getting stronger so I was wondering if training every day worked best.

If you work the same muscle every day you will not get stronger you will get weaker and will lose muscle mass... sometimes less is more. When you lift weights there are many factors that have a role in muscle one of witch is amount of sleep you get; Another is if you got "The Burn" at least a few reps in each set, testosterone in your body, the food you have to eat all the time, etc. There are too many factors to blame one workout to be more superior. the hypertrophy rep range runs 6-12 reps. You want to get stronger when you train with a smaller rep range you need heavier weight. This kind of lifting will not put on muscle as fast but you will be stronger than you look. You will find you will get so much more strength.

Lol ? Everyday ? .. Too short little to nothing gain . Everyday , stresses your muscle and did not give your muscle any day to rest might have less muscle gain too . I dont get if you are trying to tone your body or ?
