Uninstall-ed, but this folder will not delete?
-
So I installed zillatube maybe a week ago and I decided I didn't want it anymore so I deleted it. I went to the control panel and uninstalled it where it said it uninstalled I also deleted the desktop icon and files that were from zillatube that were also on my desktop as icons. Some of the icon file things wouldn't delete at first but they finally deleted the day after when I tried again. But when I go to my local disk there is a folder named zillatube. I tried to delete it but it told me I needed permission. I clicked inside the folder and deleted both files that were in it. (they wouldn't delete at first either). I then installed revo uninstaller and went to the folder and right clicked it where it gave me the option to uninstall it. I used it to delete all the files associated with zillatube. When it was done there were two file/folder things left which the program told me would be deleted after the system is restarted. I have restarted my computer 3 times now (what system is it talking about?). I have tried uninstalling the folder 2 more times and it keeps telling me the same thing (it will be deleted when it is restarted). I have even tried deleting the folder in safe mode. Now when I try to delete the folder a window pops up that says "You will need permission to delete this folder" and has three buttons. One says continue and has a shield symbol on it, the others say skip and cancel. When I click the continue button another window pops up that says "Do you want to allow the following program to make changes to this computer?" I click yes. Then another window pops up that says it is recycling but then another window pops up and says "You need permission to perform this action. You require permission from Administrators to make changes to this folder" ...this is my computer and I'm the only one that uses so I'm listed as the administrator. I even checked to make sure of it in the control panel. This is getting super frustrating because all I want is for that folder to be deleted. I'm not good with computers and I only knew to try all of these things because I googled it and asked on here. Considering that I really have no idea what I'm doing should I just take my laptop to a professional or am I making this harder than it really is?

Answer:
The best way to get rid of programs is with an external uninstaller. I would attempt to reinstall the program and then download Revo Uninstaller from download.cnet.com. It's a free download and works pretty well for the most part. Just open revo, find the program you want to uninstall, select option 4, and follow the onscreen instructions. In 90% of cases, the program is completely removed from your computer.
