Hello everyone, I have a dilemma regarding my diet, fitness, and looks. I am 14 years old and I am 5'0 (I know short) and I weigh 108 pounds. I am at a healthy weight and I am a pretty healthy teen girl but it is not good enough. I started worrying about my weight, looks, diet, and fitness like a year ago and I made a goal that I wanted to look like a Victoria's Secret angel, Gilly Hicks/Abercrombie model, or a celebrity body. I am short so please do not tell me that I can't look like that because I am too short because I don't want their height but their bodies, I think their bodies are perfect and I want that perfect body too. Unfortunately, it seems as if all my attempts to get that body have failed. Please help me get there. This is my routine. DIET Vegetables, Fruit, nuts, seeds, non fat yogurt, protein bars, protein shakes, water, soup, organic fruit smoothies, salads, organic fruit juice, dried fruit, egg whites, oats, tea, and vitamin water this what I have allowed myself to eat, I don't eat over 1,000 cals a day, usually WAY less. ABSOLUTELY NO: candy, junk food, chocolate, bread, pasta, rice, meat, fish, etc. Morning meal options: organic fruit smoothie, fruit, tea, non fat yogurt, protein shake, or protein bar Lunch meal options: salad, or veggies Dinner options: salad, veggies, or soup Snacks options: organic fruit smoothies, veggies, fruit, non fat yogurt, protein bar, protein shake, egg whites, or dried fruit. What do you think? I am trying my hardest to go completely raw but I love yogurt, protein bars and shakes. Do you guys think that would help me get the body I want? FITNESS Monday: Morning: 45 min walk around park before school and 15 min stretching. After school: 2 hours of cardio at the gym. ABS Day: 45 min workout on abs/core. Night: 30 min of step aerobics. Tuesday: Morning: same as above. After school: same as above. Upper Body Day: 45 min workout on upper body. Night: same as above. Wednesday: Morning: same. After school: same. ABS Day: same as Mon. Sunday: Morning: same as Sat. After noon: same as Sat. After noon: 1 hour of yoga class. Night: same. Note: I do NOT do the same workouts everyday, I vary them, I just do them at the same hour because that is what fits in my schedule. Do I need more exercise? What can I improve on? So please help it seems like what I am doing is just not good enough, I know I need to try harder but I need help on what I need to improve on to get to my ultimate goal. Also, I know I am not fat, I know I am healthy, I am just not good enough, but at the same time, I know it is my fault why I do not have the body I want because I do not try hard enough, so please help me reach my goal. Now that summer break is coming up I may have more free time to exercise more, YAY! Also, do you guys have any motivation tips that you can share? I am also working on making myself look beautiful and dressing beautiful, so I can at least sorta be as good as those models, lol. I know that celebs do many things to be slim but I will do them do, I just want to look good. Also, I heard that Adriana Lima has an extreme routine where she does not eat or drink anything and exercises twice a day. Would that help me get my dream body? Should I do this? For how long should I do thins? I don't mind being hungry I just want to look good, if you guys have any other tips then please share them with me, Thank you! Please answer my actual question rather than leave nasty and hateful comments!

Hey I'm doing the exact same thing, I want a body like a VS angel (who doesn't) your going the right way about it by eating healthy and cutting out the crap :) how long have you been doing it? Most of these models got scouted at about your age and have spent every day since working to look good and they are all older now which shows how long it takes. Everyone is different, maybe slow down the exercise like have a day off, it might be your body in panic mode and storing fat due to the reduced diet and need for energy for exercise, don't make it your priority. Eventually it will all come together and you'll get a super toned body, and the Adriana Lima thing you heard is right, for two weeks before the VS show she drank shakes and stuff and then about two days before drank nothing, I assume you know the risks of dehydration and stuff so I won't go on but i tried one of them before and you go so bloated for like a week after you look about to burst and theres nothing you can do, also you put back on any weight you lost as your body again panics and stores what ever you eat after it also makes you tired so exercise is hard to do, I wouldn't recommend it at all, stick to the plan you have but maybe relax it have a day off exercise once a week and treat yourself, this is not slipping up on the diet, it's just a treat. Candice Swanepoel said in one interview to 'treat your body like a machine and know what it needs including ice cream and chocolate' even she eats it and then her body burns it off because of her high metabolism due to all the exercise. One tip is to fill up on water based foods as they are absorbed into the body easily so endless amounts could be eaten things like cucumber or water melon Good luck and keep up the good work :) I hope this helped a bit and as for motivation watch the VS angel show!

Hello Lizzielo Your body is holding on to fat because you are eating to little and exercise to much. Your body is alot smarting then you may think. It sees it's being under feed and over worked it doesn't know when you will start feeding it properly so it holds on to every little thing you give it. I see you are trying to go raw. Have you heard of the low fat raw vegan lifestyle? Its simple and tasty. I eat 3 large fruit meal and a large salad or green smoothie every day. Sometime I may have a raw pasta and sauce or something of the nature. I eat as much as I need to,to fuel my body with enough energy to do whatever I need to do and enjoy exercise.
