How do I get more apps on my phone?

I have a straight talk phone. It's a Samsung galaxy Android. I have a 16mb card in it. It won't let me have more apps. I can fit about 26 apps on the phone. I want a lot more. Is it the card or is it the phone. Not sure what

It is the card!! 16 mb that's nothing. Most apps use up at least 1 GB of space. It is the card. I have the same phone with a 4GB card i have hundreds of apps on my phone. Most of them i download for free Get a new memory card and you will get more apps
