How to burn calories faster?

Does this sound like a good work out routine? how many calories would it burn?

  • every morning (around 7AM): -45 minutes Zumba on the Wii (says I burn 385 calories, but I'm not entirely sure how accurate that is) -5 minutes of yoga on the Wii Fit mid-morning (10AM) -12 minute jog on treadmill (1 mile) -25 minutes on elliptical or stationary bike -10 minutes on rowing machine (like the ones on The Biggest Loser) afternoon (2PM): -15 minute walk on treadmill (4mph, incline of 5) -20 minutes weight training on bowflex (lower body one day, upper body the next, then lower body again, etc) evening (8PM): -30 minutes Zumba on Wii -5 minutes yoga on Wii Fit i'm 19 years old, female, 5'2'', 145 pounds. how many calories would this burn per day? like, could you break it down and tell me how many calories each exercise would burn? also, does this sound like a good plan? i'm trying to get down to my goal weight of around 120 as soon as possible. thank you!

  • Answer:

Well, it's not exact, but I calculated the gist of it. Here ya go: Stretching (in place of yoga for 10 minutes) 44 Rowing machine - moderate 77 Walking 4 mph 85 Running 5 mph 111 Elliptical trainer 312 Zumba 652 Total Calories Burned: 1280 Sorry for the cliche, but it's really easier said than done. Like another commenter stated, you're going to burn yourself out by noon! I'd half, maybe even quarter, that amount and alternate between days: you've got your yoga and walking 'rest' days and then your running, more vigorous days. Regardless, good luck!

That is 2 hours and 45 minutes of exercise a day! You shouldn't be worried. If you really want to know go to this site http://www.prohealth.com/weightloss/tools/exercise/calculator1_2.cfm (I also put it in the source thingy)

You're just going to burn yourself out within a week, no way you can keep that up. What about work and school
