Sharp pain in lower abdomen before a bowel movement?

What is this pain that comes along with bowel movements?

  • I have a pretty constant pain in my butt, that feels like I just took a way too big bowel movement, but the pain is not that severe, just somewhat sore. And lately, I have had somewhat runny, bowel movements, but not diarrhea, it's just softer than what it normally is, and whole chunks get stuck coming out. This most recent bowel movement has come with a slight burning sensation afterwords, and while wiping, it felt sore. I have also had many small bowel movements throughout the day, but the need to poop has not been strong, except for this most recent one. Also recently I have gotten cramps in my lower abdomen, and I am wondering if this is something serious? I really can't go to a doctor to check it out, because we don't have insurance, and we can barely even pay the electricity. I was just wondering if anybody could tell what this is, and if there is some medicine I can just buy at the store.

  • Answer:

Perhaps your body is telling you that a strong cleanse is needed or your colon may need medical attention.
