Best Windows Vista Ultimate 32 bit display driver?(to play games with)?

• Hello, I'm asking about the best display driver for my laptop so that I can play games in the best quality I can get. Sometimes while im playing games my screen turns black and a message comes up saying "Display driver stopped working and successfully recovered." This is REALLY annoying. For example: I play a game called League of Legends. It's pretty much a game where you choose your character and team up with other players to beat the other team. In the middle of a battle there is usually a TON of flashy stuff going on and THAT is when my screen freezes up and my display driver "stops responding" Right now I have a Windows Intel 945GM Express Chipset Controller. Apparently I have the latest one, but it sucks and I KNOW that there are way better ones. But I don't know which one to download without screwing up my laptop. So here's my info: I have a Dell laptop Inspiron E1405 Operating System: Windows Vista Ultimate 32-bit version Current Display Driver: Mobile Intel(R) 945GM Express Chipset Family Can somebody give me step by step instructions? Cause I have already tried updating but it still stinks. I need a driver so this problem never happens again.

  What do you mean there are better ones? The drivers you have, are the best ones currently until Intel decide to update them - if they decide to update them. The problem is more likely because you are using an Intel graphics chipset when Intel graphics are really poor for anything other than watching a video. You say it yourself - It is when all the "flashy stuff" is going on that the problems occur and that is because your graphics chip can't handle the game at it's current settings. Try going into the game options and turning down the graphics options and see if that helps. Other than that playing on a computer with a better graphics card/chip is your only option. Edit* - Seriously, if you fall for that crap below you deserve everything that happens to your computer when it installs malware that tells you you have 100 things wrong and you need to pay $$$ for the software to "fix" it.
