Is a little brown spotting after sex normal?
-
Okay, so I had sex with my boyfriend last night and this morning I had a little bit of brown spotting... is this normal? Here's a little back story so this makes more sense: I'm almost 22 and I've basically never had sex. I tried once when I was 19 but I couldn't go through with it. I was sexually assaulted when I was 14 by my brother-in-law, so I have big time trust issues with guys and I could just never bring myself to have sex with them. Anyway, my current boyfriend is basically amazing and is really understanding, and he's the first person I finally trust enough to have sex with... so we tried. I was really tight (obviously) and I was in a lot of pain (a lot of that stretches back to the sexual assault, too), so we tried but we just sort of gave up. He penetrated me a few times (with a condom), but didn't ejaculate. I also gave him a ********/hand job last night and he did ejaculate, but I was very careful not to touch myself afterwards. I wiped my hand off and then went into the bathroom to wash my hands. Now, a few days ago, we also did some sexual stuff... mostly mutual masturbation. His penis was near me when we were both naked, but we were extremely careful that his penis did not come into any kind of contact with my vagina at all. He also fingered me, but he did not touch himself at all prior to touching me and I did not touch myself before or after touching him. So, could this very slight brown spotting be normal? He was a little rough last night with the fingering and then obviously the sex was painful (and yes, we DID use a condom). There's just a little part of me that's worried that I could have somehow gotten pregnant from either of these encounters, though I highly doubt it because when we weren't using protection (which was only during the mutual masturbation/********), we were unbelievably careful. I'm due for my next period May 17. My breasts are already sore, and I expect to have my period a few days earlier than normal (I have hyperthyroidism so sometimes my periods are about a week ahead of schedule). I'm honestly trying not to worry about it because I don't think there's anything I need to worry about, but there's still just that little nauseous feeling in the pit of my stomach that I somehow managed to get pregnant. Just a little reassurance would be great. I think I'm just a little overwhelmed right now due to the fact that this is really the first time that I've allowed someone to be this close to me since the sexual assault and all, so it's just a lot to deal with. Also, as a side note for those that may suggest it: I cannot be on birth control due to a heart condition, so condoms are my only option (and I will absolutely be using them if we have sex again).

If u have been as careful as u say then u have nothing to worry about. Conception is a miracle and to be honest penetration is what is more likely to get u pregnant. Also ur symptoms are more likely u over thinking everything trust me I know As for being really tight, my first time it was so sore I was in tears but grit my teeth and bared it. For about 10-15 times after that it hurt too but it eased off. Good luck and don't let what ur brother in law done to u ruin ur relationship, take time and think it through, this is not that same man and he won't do what he done to u

yea, spotting after sex and stuff is normal. exspecially since you haven't done it since you were 19. And i highly doubt you are pregnant, so stop worrying so much. It sounds to me your just being paranoid about the whole situation. If your worried bout it that bad go get a pregnancy test just to know cuz some women can still be pregnant even if they have their period. I hope I helped you.
