How to view and copy hidden files and folders in Linux?

Why are my save files hidden in the Project 64 folder?

  • I want to copy and paste the save files I have for Majora's Mask from the Project 64 "Save" folder but it doesn't display the files, EVEN WITH SHOW HIDDEN FILES OR FOLDERS TURNED ON. The only way I can view the save files is through "Load" in the Project 64 menu. I try to open file location from there but says its corrupt or the file might of moved location. I also get error 0x80004005 when I try to copy them to a usb through project 64. The weird thing is I can still play the save files on PJ64 but can't access them in any other way. Windows Advanced Search doesn't find them either.

  • Answer:

zelda majoras mask and orcarina of time both are two of the few games that save within the game instead of externaly. on the other hand if your talking about the save game option built into project 64 then i dont know what you should do other than try to change your directories and try again.make shure you have the directory remebered or saved befor you change it
