What do you need to study border patrol or to work there?

  What you can do for now is go to www.usajobs.gov and find some postings for CBP officers. They will list their criteria on the job announcement. You will need to test, score very high on the test, get referred into the hiring officials and then do great on the interview. If hired, you'll attend months of training either in Georgia or Texas. After which, you'll be stationed somewhere along the Southern border and on your way. It's usually a good idea to get your bachelor's degree in criminal justice or something useful as you wait because getting hired by the federal government can take years.
