I have HP1907 = 1 ethernet port; dsl at 5.08;for wireless netflix to tv do i need router or router/modem?

I'm not sure I fully understand what you're saying or asking. If you have a single DSL connection and need to share it among multiple devices you'll need a router. If some of your devices are wireless, you'll need a wireless router. You'll use an Ethernet cable to connect the DSL modem to the router's WAN (Internet) port. If you have any wired devices, you'll use Ethernet cables to connect them to the router's LAN ports. Once you set up the wireless network on the router, any of your wireless devices should be able to connect to it.
