How would I add filled textboxes to a database using the submit button in asp.net?

What I want to know is if it is possible and if so how to add whatever a user would put in a textbox into a certain database by clicking on the submit button? Basically I'm making a registration page using asp.net I have a table in my database called "members". I want to make a form in Visual Studio with textboxes for FirstName, LastName etc. All of these are columns in the table. What code would I need to add to the submit button to make this happen?
