Is there any way to uninstall Explorer 7?

How do i uninstall Internet explorer from my computer?

  • i like using fire fox browser better than the internet explorer. But the only issue is that i can not see to find a way to uninstall it from my computer. Here are the few things i had try: Try #1: Control Panel > Programs > Programs and Features I look on the list to look for it, but i can not seem to find it Try #2: I have a software on my computer called Revo Uninstaller which helps uninstall programs that are hard to get off or programs that have somehow lost their uninstall file. I click on it, and it does not seem to have the internet explorer on the list to help uninstall it. What can I do to get rid of internet explorer from my computer?

    Your computer will NOT work if you delete internet explorer ! IE controls your computer's main proxy settings and other configuration and it is built-into Microsoft.There is no way to uninstall it.Don't even try. If you're worried about security issues then just don't use it.If you use FF or Chrome then you won't have to worry about IE bugs.Just don't use it....

You can't delete it. You can set any other browser you like as the default, though.

Why on earth would you want to remove it. It does nothing as a browser unless you use it. It actually takes up almost no space on the disk, as it is a small program in itself. And it will never totally remove as it has a lot of embedded software attached which the machine has to use to operate properly. Your Windows updates need it to perform correctly. Along with a lot more including some web sites hosted on Microsoft systems. Remove enough of it to be worth the effort and the machine will not run properly.
