Do you know a recipe to make lovely sangria?

In a large jug, combine 1 bottle of light red wine, 100ml sugar syrup, 1/4 cup of cointreau, 1/4 cup of lemon juice, 1 thinly sliced orange, 1 thinly sliced lime. Stir all ingredients together, top with ice. Serves around 8

This is a fantastic recipe. Ingredients: 1 Bottle of red wine (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Rioja) 1 Lemon cut into wedges 1 Orange cut into wedges 1 Lime cut into wedges 2 Tbsp sugar Splash of orange juice or lemonade 2 Shots of gin or triple sec (optional) 1 Cup of raspberries or strawberries (may use thawed or frozen) 1 Small can of diced pineapples (with juice) 4 Cups ginger ale, (Canada Dry is perfect). Preparation: Pour wine into a large pitcher and squeeze the juice wedges from the lemon, orange and lime into the wine. Toss in the fruit wedges (leaving out seeds if possible) and pineapple then add sugar, orange juice and gin. Chill overnight. Add ginger ale, berries and ice just before serving. If you'd like to serve right away, use chilled red wine and serve over lots of ice. However, remember that the best Sangrias are chilled around 24 hours in the fridge. - allowing the flavours to really marinate into each other.

SANGRIA 1 orange, quartered, each quarter thinly sliced crossways 1 granny smith apple, cored, quartered, each quarter thinly sliced crossways 185ml (3/4 cup) Cointreau 55g (1/4 cup) caster sugar 2 x 750ml bottles sparkling shiraz, chilled 500ml (2 cups) chilled lemonade 1 cup ice cubes, to serve Method Place the orange, apple, Cointreau and sugar in a large bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and place in the fridge for 30 minutes to chill and allow the flavours to develop. Add the sparkling shiraz, lemonade and ice cubes to the fruit mixture. Use a ladle to transfer the sangria to a jug. Pour among 8 serving glasses. Serve immediately. SANGRIA 4 oranges 2 lemons 1 apple, unpeeled, core removed, diced 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1/4 cup brandy 750ml bottle red wine (see note) 1/4 cup caster sugar 750ml bottle soft drink (lemonade, soda water or ginger ale) Method Thinly slice 1 orange and 1 lemon. Cut each slice into small wedges and place in a large bowl. Add apple, cinnamon and brandy. Stir to combine. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Juice remaining oranges and lemon. Combine 1 1/2 cups wine, 1 1/2 tablespoons sugar, 1 1/2 cups soft drink, 1/4 cup orange juice and 1 1/2 tablespoons lemon juice in a jug. Add half the apple mixture. Stir to combine.
