Do you know a recipe to make lovely sangria?
-
I love sangria! I always drink it when I go to Spanish parts of the world, but I live in England, and going to a bar and ordering a glass of sangria is not possible! I would love to have a go at making myself some sangria, but I have no idea how to do this? Can you tell me how I could make it? Thank you!

Sapphire: This is the one i was taught when I was at sea This Sangria recipe is perfect for big is good parties and it is very easy to make. I am going to give you this recipe so you can make up a double potion of it , this way you will not have to go into a bar and get the ans of no we do not make it . you may .first of all this is the ingrediants which you will need Ingredients: 1 Bottle of red wine (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Rioja, Zinfandel, Shiraz) 1 Lemon cut into wedges 1 Orange cut into wedges 1 Lime cut into wedges 2 Tbsp sugar Splash of orange juice or lemonade 2 Shots of gin or triple sec (optional) 1 Cup of raspberries or strawberries (may use thawed or frozen) 1 Small can of diced pineapples (with juice) 4 Cups ginger ale And now the Preparation: Pour wine into a large pitcher and squeeze the juice wedges from the lemon, orange and lime into the wine. Toss in the fruit wedges leaving out seeds if possible, and pineapple then add sugar, orange juice and gin. Chill overnight. Add ginger ale, berries and ice just before serving. If you'd like to serve right away, use chilled red wine and serve over lots of ice. However, remember that the best Sangrias are chilled around 24 hours in the frig. - allowing the flavors to really marinate into each other. I would advise you that you put a notice up if you are going to have a party saying do not drive your car home , if you are planing more than 1 or 2 glasses as this is a very strong drink as you can see by the ingredants . Hope it turns out all right for you Peace to you
