How To Delete Account On Used Computer?

  • Hi I purchased a used laptop and Im trying to delete 1 of the accounts... The acocunt is guest account... How do I figure out the password or delete the account... Im using windows 7 by the way.. If you could provide a link to youtube video that would help out also.. Thanks Thanks, Ruben jr

    To delete a user, type user accounts into the Start search bar and hit Enter. Then click on Manage another account. Select the user account you want to get rid of. Now click on Delete the account. You are then given the option to keep the user files. You may want to do this if they need them for another machine or you want to store them if needed later. If you choose to keep the files they will be saved in a folder on the desktop. Then go ahead and delete the account.☺

you cant delete a guest account,you can just disable it. Go to control panel,click user accounts and disable it from there

you can't delete the guest account, but you can turn it off! Go to control panel, then click to user account and click manage another user account. At last click on the guest and turn it off. Regards....

First, login as the "Administrator". Then go to Control Panel. Inside there is a section about Accounts (I do not recall the name of it, sorry). From there you can delete any account.
