How to delete account or change username?

I am trying to delete my Youtube account. This is what I do: -sign into Youtube -click on my username -click on account -click on manage account -click on delete account -type in why I want to delete it -click delete Whenever I do this, It says this...

How can i delete my old itunes account? because when i want to make a new itunes account it just says this username is already taken so i weas wondering how can i cancel my old account? and whilst we're on the subject why doesn't the change password...

Just wondering how I can change my Yahoo username, or do I need to delete the account and create a new one?

I don't have a yahoo but I do have a google account witch I signed up for answers with. I can't find a way to change my username or even delete it.
