Can we create more land to deal with over population? Man made islands, to man made countries?

  Interesting thought. But there's so much space already. I know the middle of the Sahara or Northern Yukon aren't the best places but that's kinda the point of human life. We go to places where there's rich soil or places where we can get good trade routes (cities are only on the coasts of Australia, and not the middle). Or we could stop producing so many children that we're incapable of looking after.
