Good Black Gospel Songs Solo?

Looking for original songs for my debut solo album - style of Tyler Hilton / Gavin deGraw / Matchbox Twenty?

• Hey, I am looking for some original songs for my debut album in a similar style to Gavin DeGraw / Matchbox Twenty / Tyler Hilton. I can write ok lyrics, but my song writing is non existant so would appreciate the help! I have a website at www.mattcallanansinger.com (for my cover gig work) which has a couple of samples of my singing. Looking to get at least 20 songs together and select 12 for the album which would be distributed at gigs and online as well as being used as a demo to send out to record labels. If any of the songs are used, obviously there would be a royalty %, but want to get the album together and songs finalised before the details are done and dusted. Ideally looking for backing versions of tracks that are high quality so that I can jump into a studio and just record the vocals, but if there are songs with lyrics already, be good to hear a full mix so that I can get the feel of how the song is sung. If there are any songs that don't have lyrics, that's cool too bcause I can write something for them! Thanks :)
