ADD SOUND TO VIDEO!!! HELP?

Sound problem in my computer, need help fast?

• I'm hesitating to use the warranty just for this puny little thing, but oh well. Yesterday the sound on my computer worked perfectly, I could play sound through my speakers and through my headset, no problem at all, however today that changed. After I came home from school I plugged in my headset and tried to watch some anime, but the sound failed me. As I was trying to watch the video, I heard a buzzing noise that was really loud and I could barely hear a thing from the anime (I watch raw versions, trying to learn some japanese). Then I heard some kind of breathing noise and I suspected it was my own and I was correct. I unplugged the microphone and tried the speakers, but the same thing happened. Also, as soon as I turned the volume up it started "whistling" or something like that. The buzzing noise is of course still there though so yeah. Um short: I've tried: Restarting Using different devices Trying to find a solution somewhere in the web Unplugging ALL devices on the computer More that I might add.. Result: Nothing, it still buzzes and annoys me, it ruins everything. I don't know whether this is caused by my sound card or not, but my computer is not even 1 year old, so I still have warranty on it. It could be caused by my sound card, but I don't know. Oh and.. I've tried the sound devices (mic, speakers) on different computers, and they work flawlessly. Could somebody help me with this problem? I'd really appreciate it if someone could find a solution.

  Sounds like you've already done all of the troubleshooting. Next step would be to contact the manufacturer and see if they will take control of your system so they can troubleshoot as well. It sounds that you are correct, it more than likely is the sound card and once the manufacturer checks it out they may be able to send you one (cross-shipping) in the mail where you pay for the new one and then they refund the $$$ as soon as they get the old one back.
