A drawer fell on my toe and now my toe nail has gone purple help!?

This morning I was trying to find a top from my middle drawer when it landed on my foot -.- i was screaming and when I went to look at my foot blood was pouring from the cutical of my toe nail (the skin underneath your toe nail) anyway it still hurts now and it's still bleeding, I removed my nail varnish to reveal a purple bruise underneath my nail. I'm now wearing a plaster and it stings like hell but if i dont blood will spill everywhere. I have tried cold water but nothing helps should I see a doctor or go to the hospital?:/
Answer:

Leave well alone and if it has not stopped bleeding tomorrow afternoon, then see a Doctor.

A while back i stubbed my toe while playing dodgeball in gym. The cutical bled for a while and it hurt for a bit. when i got home from school the toe nail was lifted up a bit in the front so i clipped it off and after a week the bruise / cut healed up. over the course of a month or two my toe nail gradually came off front to back and when i woke up one morning it had fallen off in my sleep. I'm assuming you did the same thing and it looks pretty gross but dont worry it will grow back after it falls off.
