How to make a decorative bird cage?

I need to make one of those wire bird cages for a sculpture I'm working on. It only needs to be like 3" tall. Any ideas about what i could make it out of and how to construct it?

You have 2 choices: - first one go to gift shop and you will find there bird case of your desired size for sure - second download picture of the cage you want to build, use any kind of tin can as a base and use wires from OSH or any other hardware store to construct wires. If you can weld or solder - do so, if not then use epoxy with masking tape to put everything together.

That bendy wire stuff you can find in hardware stores, you can make a base out of cardboard and use the wires to make the body of the cage.
